The McHenry County Law Library provides legal professionals, attorneys, judiciary, self-represented litigants and members of the public with legal information services.
The Law Library maintains a section of printed legal research material, as well as electronic and online legal resources. The law librarian will not provide legal advice.
The Law Library has computers to access online court forms which can be can be used for litigation purposes. Our computers are equipped with cameras and audio for easy Zoom court access. We have in-person access to Lexis Nexis, providing access to state and federal statutes, state and federal cases, state legislation and sample forms. There is no cost to the user to access the computers
